The Wizard Watch is a wearable, GPS-enabled smartwatch for kids featuring two-way voice and text communications, emergency alerts, and activity tracking. Parents can easily CONTACT, LOCATE, MONITOR and PROTECT their children without the risks that come with giving a child an expensive smartphone.
Our product uses LIVE GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell tower triangulation to locate your child using our easy-to-use smartphone app. Locate them if they become lost while playing in the neighborhood. Find them if they become separated from you at the amusement park or while shopping at the mall. It’s important to note that you are able to monitor your child’s location without them or anyone around them knowing.
Yes, with the Wizard Watch you are always connected to your child. You can use our Two-Way Voice Calling feature to call your child for a simple check in, or they can call you to let you know they are running late. SMS text and Voice Messaging is included with our service plan, and our cellular service provides reliable coverage just like your smartphone. While the Wizard Watch does have the ability to both send and receive text messages, your child only can only respond to text messages using emoji symbols.
The watch is water resistant, but not waterproof. The iGPS Wizard cannot be submerged underwater.
The Wizard Watch is priced at $119.95 for one watch. There is a service fee of $14.95 per watch, and a one-time activation fee of $15.00 per watch, for a total at check out of $149.90. If you purchase more than one watch, each additional watch is $99.95.
Once you receive your Wizard and set up the device, you will be billed $14.95 per month for our cellular service plan. We do not believe that parents should have to commit to long-term contracts, as situations can change, therefore, all plans are on a month to month basis and you can cancel your service at any time. The Cellular plan includes 300 minutes of Talk-time with unlimited data and text.
Under normal circumstance, please allow 3-7 days to receive your Wizard Watch. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your item ships. Please note that during our sales periods, delivery times may be longer. Please check with customer service for approximate delivery times.”
The Wizard Watch tracks your child’s location and movements for up to seven days at a time so you can review daily activities. The Wizard Watch offers unparalleled protection for your child with Emergency Alerts. Receive immediate notifications, and your child’s last known location, if the device comes off your child’s wrist or if they press the SOS alert button on the watch. You can also create Safe Play Zones using GEO-fencing technology. If your child ventures out of a designated safe area, the device will notify you. In the case that you do not answer the alert, the device will auto-dial the emergency numbers that you list in the app until someone responds. You can add up to 11 contacts to your Wizard Watch.
Wizard Watches come with a SIM Card, activated and ready to use. Please review our service map and enter your zip code to check coverage for your area. Additionally, we check each order before it ships to make sure we can provide connectivity in your area.
Wizard Watches come with a monthly cellular service plan provided by iGPS for $14.95 per month. Can I use my current network carrier for cellular service? Unfortunately no, iGPS customers can only use the SIM card and cellular services that come with the device.
iGPS provides customer service, technical support and billing administration for our devices and uses the GSM cellular network that is provided by T-Mobile and AT&T.
The service plan includes 300 talk-time minutes. Like other cellular carriers, if you exceed your monthly minutes/texts you may incur an overage charge, but your child’s watch will still function fully. You do not have to re-load minutes in any given month due to an overage, we manage your plan and do this automatically for you. If you find that you are consistently going over your usage plan we offer a plan with more minutes/texts for $19.95/month. “
Yes. You can invite up to 10 people to monitor your child’s device. For security purposes, you must invite them and give them permission to track your child through the iGPS mobile app.
All iGPS watches come with a 12-month warranty. The warranty covers any internal hardware malfunctions but does not cover physical damage, water damage, or damage due to excessive heat.
Please contact a customer service representative by calling 800-723-4955 if you are having issues with your Wizard Watch, want to cancel your service plan, or want to return your device. Please note, for security purposes, we do not issue refunds or service cancellations via email, please call customer service to process your request.
No, the watch can only call the phone numbers that are preset in the iGPS mobile App by the parent/guardian.
If you wish to return your Wizard Watch, you may do so within 14 days of receiving the device at your own cost. To request a return authorization, please call customer service at 800-723-4955. Please note that your Wizard Watch is activated prior to leaving our facility, and once you receive it and set up the watch, your service plan is initiated. The iGPS Watch app uses the latest in security technologies to protect your child’s privacy, including TLS (successor to SSL) protocol and AES-256 encryption. The only people who can track your loved ones are those you personally invite. They are given access only after you send them an invitation through the iGPS Watch app. We take safety and security very seriously and do everything we can to ensure the highest level of care in protecting your information. The Advanced Encryption Standard or AES is a symmetric block cipher used by the U.S. government to protect classified information and is implemented in software and hardware throughout the world to encrypt sensitive data.
